History
Brandt Innovations Technologies, Inc. began as a sole proprietorship (Brandt Innovations) in 1993. The first project involved the creation of a software program that used geometric optics to trace light rays in order to determine the illumination patterns of custom light fixtures. The company was incorporated in 1998 after five years of successful projects. The first project as a corporation was to simulate the interaction of infrared radiation with the surfaces of semiconductor wafers.
The company was started by it's current president Kurt Brandt while he was engaged in earning his Ph.D. in physics. Dr. Brandt continues to contribute to the scientific community by conducting basic research, publication and reviews in peer scientific journals, presentations at scientific conferences and is currently forming a local chapter of the Optical Society of America. He has been involved in community education programs including Science Bag, appearances on local TV news shows, and developed training for public school teachers.
Dr. Brandt's value of contribution to society permeates the business structure of BIT and it's continued commitment to build the careers of it's employees and provide true value and customer satisfaction to it's customers.
